The original version of Thunderblade without the voiceover for the computer game appeared in a 1987 television commercial for Brut, entitled Fabergé (Take One). That version was released in 2014 on the various artists compilation Zang Tuum Tumb - The Art Of The 12", Volume Three. Counterpoint (Parts 1 & 2) is the first edited version of the original unreleased 1987 track Album 3 Sampler, the second being Locus Classicus 1 that appeared on the 1989 single Paranoimia '89.
