Curator's Note:
The majority of these Compact Disc singles have succumb
to disc rot due to a chemical reaction with the various elements used
to create the lacquer to protect the disc and are now unplayable.
The picture above is what the CD originally looked like in October 1988 and the one on the right illustrates the effect of the discolouring caused by disc rot.
It would be advisable for collectors to track down the European issue or the 1992 reprint by PDMC that was manufactured to replace the original PDO pressings. |
