The Art Of Noise, back-up band to the greats - Duane Eddy, Tom Jones, Max Headroom. Could be, one day, they'll even work with Frank Sidebottom. Certainly, their ambition seems limitless.

Discography-wise, however, they've left a trail of confusion behind them, at least during their ZTT era. Singles featuring different mixes often bore the same catalogue numbers, the same songs were given different titles. Additionally, catalogue numbers weren't always handled sequentially. Even though I've spent time sitting on the floor at their record company's production department, surrounded by sheets of original label copy, I admit I've failed to sort out the mess. I doubt if even AON or even one-time head Svengaii Paul Morley himself could make complete sense of it all. But here's what I came up with. Your comments are awaited.
